Enter your steam id in the text box above. If you don't know your id, go to your steam profile and click edit, then find your custom url. It will be in a text box to the side of that. After you have entered your id, you will see a message that tells you to come back in two hours. This is because the prices only update every hour on the steam market and you need 2 points to get a line. After two hours have passed, come back and you will see 3 lines. One for CS:GO, one for Dota 2, and one for TF2.
When you enter your id, it is put into a datatable. Every hour a program on my computer wakes up gets a list of items from the steam servers using your id. Then they are looked up in the backpack.tf / csgofact.com list of all the item prices on the market. After that, the final total for every user is put into another datatable which is then read by the graph every time you use the site.
All taken care of. Because the application updating the graph data uses your 64-bit id instead of your user id, it doesn't matter. So entering in your new id will not change anything.
Welcome everyone to the first version of my inventory tracker. This is the first version and I have a lot more planned for this project. I hope you enjoy using my website and I hope you will be with me as I develop this further.
Fixed a problem with the item database deleting but not replacing some items.
Added a inventory list and a refresh button. Some problems with the item list are resizing, styling, and functionality (witch I am working on right now). Also fixed some of the backend problems like java throwing exceptions all over the place when no items were received in the totaling every hour.
Added an inventory list.
Improved ajax calls to be more efficient.
Cleaned up code all around the place.
Added a legend to the graph.
Started adding sorting options for the inventory list.
Finished sorting options.
Switched CS:GO item pricing from backpack.tf to csgofast.com.
